Two ways to run it, two ways to pay

NET Genium comes in two forms, and the price follows from the one you choose.
The hosted NET Genium Online portal has a public price list and is paid for with credit, per user and month. Full NET Genium on your own server is licensed by the number of users signed in at the same time, and its price is agreed individually.

Both forms are built on the same framework. They differ in where they run and what you may add to them in code — not in what you can design in them.

NET Genium Online

One user free of charge, with no time limit

You create your portal without entering a payment card and use it free of charge with a single user — not for a month, but permanently. On the free plan the data allowance is limited to 100 MB.

Billing starts with the second user and the price is EUR 10 or USD 12 excl. VAT per user and month — you choose the currency when you place the order, and customers in the Czech Republic pay CZK 250.

You are charged only for the users you actually create in your portal. The number of applications, forms or records does not affect the price.

Create a portal for free

You pay with credit, not a standing order

Running your portal is paid for with credit, not with a recurring card payment. One credit is one user for one month:

  • with a single user nothing is deducted at all — the free plan lasts until you add another user,
  • the credit is deducted once a month, always on the monthly anniversary of the registration,
  • as many credits are deducted as you have users on the day of the deduction,
  • you top up any amount you like, whenever you like,
  • you order the credit right inside your portal — we issue an invoice based on the order and add the credit once it is paid,
  • nothing is charged to your card unless you ask for it — you can have the credit topped up automatically from a saved card, but only if you tick that option when you order; otherwise every payment is your decision.

A user you create during a month that is already paid for is free until the next deduction, and a user you remove is paid for the month that has just been charged. There is nothing to report and no plan to change.

Top up your credit before you add a second user. The free plan covers one user, so as soon as another one is added and there is no credit to deduct, the portal switches to read-only mode — and with three users you need to top up three credits, not one. If you go back down to a single user, the portal returns to the free plan and keeps running even without credit.

Credit left over is never lost

Credit is prepaid running time — it does not have to add up to whole months. If you do not have enough credit for a whole month on the day of a deduction, the rest is converted into the matching part of that month and the portal keeps running until it ends:

  • with three users and a single credit, the portal is paid for one third of the month,
  • nothing is forfeited — the credit simply runs out during the month rather than at the end of it,
  • if you top the credit up once the portal has already stopped, the service resumes immediately.

Your current credit balance and the day your portal is paid for up to are shown inside your portal. Before your credit runs out, we notify you by e-mail. Only after that day does the portal switch to read-only mode — your data stays accessible and the service resumes once you top the credit up. We may delete a portal no sooner than 6 months after it switched to read-only mode, and always notify you by e-mail at least 30 days in advance — the details are described in the license terms.

The users charged for are those who belong to at least one user group, plus the administrator account, which is always counted. When an employee leaves, it is enough to remove them from the groups — you can keep the account for the ownership of records and the change history, and it stops being charged.

Data allowance

On the free plan the data allowance is limited to 100 MB. Once you top up your credit for the first time, the price includes a data allowance of 1 GB for every user:

Users Price per month Data allowance
1 free 100 MB
2 EUR 20 / USD 24 2 GB
5 EUR 50 / USD 60 5 GB
20 EUR 200 / USD 240 20 GB

The allowance covers both data and attachments — that is, the records in your database as well as any uploaded documents and images. If your solution outgrows this level, it is usually the right moment to move to a full NET Genium installation.

What the portal contains, how it is created and where its limits are is described on the page NET Genium Online.

What your agent gets for that price

The price buys a user, not a quota. What that means for anyone connecting an AI agent to their portal:

  • Your own database, not a share of one. Every portal runs on a database of its own, with a real SQL data model — tables, columns, data types, relations and indexes.
  • No cap on the number of records, neither per table nor per portal. The only ceiling is the storage space above, and it is the same space your attachments live in.
  • Full read and write through the built-in MCP server, governed by the permissions of a personal token — not a narrow API bolted onto the side.
  • The model of your implementation and the knowledge of the framework, so the agent works from the actual shape of your solution instead of guessing it.
  • No metering of what the agent does. Calls, automations and integrations are not counted or charged separately.

That is the part worth comparing. Platforms that cap the records of a base, meter API calls or price automation runs separately make an agent expensive exactly when it becomes useful — at the point it starts reading and writing a lot.

What the same money buys elsewhere

List prices published by the vendors themselves, checked in September 2026 — per user and month, billed annually, excluding VAT. Read the ceiling, not only the number.

NET Genium Online — EUR 10 / USD 12 Your own database with no cap on the number of records, 1 GB of space per user included, and nothing counting what your agent reads or writes.
Airtable — USD 20 Team, USD 45 Business A base is capped at 50,000 records on Team and 125,000 on Business; the free plan stops at 1,000.
Microsoft Power Apps — USD 22 Premium No record cap of its own, but a licence brings 250 MB of Dataverse database space and 2 GB for files; further database capacity costs USD 40 per GB and month.
Quickbase — USD 35 Team, USD 55 Business Seats are charged on top of a platform minimum fee, so the seat price is not the entry price.

None of that makes those platforms bad — it makes them expensive for an agent. An agent earns its place exactly when it works at volume: it walks whole tables, counts, cross-checks and writes back what it derived. That is the moment a record cap is reached, a gigabyte of database space is billed or an automation run is metered. Here the only ceiling is the data allowance above, and it is the same one your attachments already use.

Full installation

The price is agreed individually

Full NET Genium runs on your organization's own server or in your cloud and opens up everything the hosted form does not have — external functions in C#, an API, Windows services and scheduled tasks, integration with internal systems and operation under your own backup regime.

A deployment like that cannot sensibly be reduced to a single price-list item, because it differs with every customer:

  • the number of licenses — how many people are to be signed in at the same time,
  • the scope of the implementation — whether we deliver a finished solution, or only the platform you build the system on yourself,
  • how it is delivered — directly by us, or through an implementation partner within the partner program,
  • the level of support — guaranteed response times are not part of the license and are agreed separately.

Write to us at info@netgenium.com and tell us how many users are to be signed in at the same time and what the system is meant to do. We will prepare a quotation to match.

Licensed by the number of concurrent users

We issue a license key for the number of licenses an organization needs. Licenses are counted by the number of users signed in at the same time, so several people sharing a shift do not each need one. Signing in more than once under a single user name uses a single license.

What the license price hides nowhere else:

  • no platform fee to get in,
  • no charge per application or per form — a single portal can run dozens of applications,
  • no cap on the number of records,
  • no metering of API calls or automation runs.

Continuous platform updates

The license is followed by the NET Genium Update service: new versions of the framework core to download, and e-mail technical support for their operation and deployment. It keeps applications compatible with new browser and server versions, so they can be operated for years without fundamental rewrites.

The scope of the service and the supported server environments are described in the NET Genium Update terms of service.

Delivery through a partner

Full NET Genium can also be delivered to you by an implementation partner — they bring the solution to you, arrange the hosting and build the layer of external functions, APIs and services on top. Partners get the same set of rules, skills and documentation our own developers work with.

The terms of partner cooperation are likewise agreed individually — the details are on the page Partner program.

What never changes the price

The same applies in both forms. The price does not follow how much you build in the platform:

  • the number of applications and application groups,
  • the number of edit forms and view pages,
  • the number of records in the database,
  • the number of database queries, scripts and print templates,
  • how much your AI agent reads and writes.

As your solution grows, only what it actually consumes grows with it — users and data allowance in the hosted form, concurrent users in a full installation.

Moving between the two is not a dead end

Both forms are built on the same framework, so applications created online are never a throwaway investment. Once an organization reaches a limit of the hosted form, we move the whole database of your portal into a full installation — the applications and their data carry on unchanged, with nothing to export or convert.

The typical reason to move is a need for your own application logic in C#, integration with internal systems, automated background processing, or operation inside your own corporate network.

If you are not sure which form matches your needs, get in touch — we will be glad to go through it with you.
