Creating absences
In the HUMAN RESOURCES module, click the Calendar application in the left navigation bar, open My absence, and click New absence. In the form, check the user who will be absent and specify the date of the absence. Select the from-to option to define its beginning and end. Finally, enter the reason for the absence, optionally add a comment, and save the record. Absences are used, for example, to record business trips or visits to the doctor. However, it is not used to enter holidays.
Creating deadlines
Dates represent personal dates of a specific user of the information system (e.g. a meeting with a customer). In the left navigation bar, click on the view page My deadlines, and then click on the page button New deadline. In the open form, we fill in the subject and check the date. When we are done, we click on the Save button.
Creating events
Events are shared by all employees of the company, for example training sessions. To create an event, open the Events view page and click New event. Enter the event name, check the date, and save the record.
Graphic event calendar
On the view page Overall calendar we can display selected types of events (absences, events, deadlines, holidays...) in a graphic calendar. These records can also be opened directly from the calendar by clicking on the record header.
