What does business process mean? The business process within NET Genium ERP is understood as a sequence of consecutive activities, which include working with several types of records of the module STORE in the information system. Of course, you can work with these records independently (and thus create straight contracts, sub-contracts, etc.), but this part of the help describes a sample example of using the functionality of the STORE module on a more complex example.

1. Create quotation

Based on the requirements received from the customer, we want to create a solution offer. On the page, click on the item New quotation/contract. We fill in the name of the contract and select the name of the customer from the database using a picker. We will also check the price type – this is automatically filled in based on the settings of the business account with the customer.

2. Create quotation items

On the Quotation items tab, we will create items that fall into the quotation (eg project proposal, construction work, legal support during approval, etc.). After pressing the New item button, we will be redirected to the business case item form. We can insert either items without links to products or stock, items from the Products catalogue or Inventory items. In our case, we insert the Invent. item using a picker. Finally, select the quantity and click on the Save button. We now see the item we created in the table Quotation items.

3. Create PDF document and submit offer

If we want to export the quotation to PDF format, we click on our Quotation next to the Print reports field. With this step, we created a PDF document. When we are done, we will send this document to our customer. Check the Send marked attachments box and then check the Send attachment 1 box. Fill in the customer's e-mail address in the e-mail form and attach the text. Finally, click on the Send by e-mail + button. When we are done, we click on the Save button. We now see the offer we created on the All active contracts page.
