PaymentService is a standalone service that runs in the background of your web server's operating system. It is used for automatic marking of invoices and other liabilities as paid based on communication with the bank - thus it represents a considerable time saving during routine invoicing.
PaymentService constantly monitors e-mails sent by the bank about incoming and outgoing payments (so the condition is that the bank supports sending these messages). These payments are automatically matched to the relevant accounting documents based on the variable symbol and amount. Documents paired in this way are automatically marked as paid. After successfully matching the incoming payment with the accounting document, the responsible person is always informed by e-mail or SMS.
